Wales Lockdown - Update for Owners at Golden Sands Holiday Park

Thank you for your patience whilst we have been looking into the finer detail of how the current Welsh lockdown guidelines affect our Park and in turn, you. 


Throughout the pandemic, our absolute priority has been to ensure Golden Sands does all it can to look after our Holiday Home Owners. We have also tried to be as fair as possible throughout the various restrictions and lockdowns caused by Covid-19. Now that the vaccine roll out has begun, there is reason for optimism, and we hope to be able to welcome you all back to the Park before too much longer.


Site Fee Credit


As an extension of our commitment at Golden Sands to assist our valued Owners, we are pleased to advise that we will be able to offer an ex-gratia 20% site fee credit for all Owners that qualify throughout this current lockdown period. 

This will apply to Owner’s accounts which are fully up to date and will be subject to their occupancy period. We are proud to note that there are few other Holiday Park operators offering such assistance presently.


Unfortunately, due to less Government support, higher winter Park maintenance costs and the need for additional security, the credit is lower than that offered previously. However, we do hope this support is well received as has been the case to date.

We are currently unsure how long our Park will remain closed; however, we can assure you that we will do all we can to ensure the credit continues for as long as access to your holiday home is restricted.


MAIN PARK & CO-OP - A 20% per week credit will be issued to all Owners qualifying on the main park and Co-Op areas with a 12-month contract as long as you do not have access to your holiday home.


BEACHFIELDS - If you are an Owner with a holiday home on Beachfields then your credit will be applicable up until 15th January 2021. If the Park is closed after the 1st March, you will be entitled to this rebate from that date and until we reopen again.


How Your Credit Will Be Paid


If you have already paid your 2021 Fees in full, the credit will be posted into your Owners Account at the end of each month affected by the Park’s closure. It can then be used to offset other costs arising.


If you are paying your account by standing order, then we can arrange for the monthly payments to be adjusted as requested.
