IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL OWNERS
We hope that you are keeping well and coping with the exceptional circumstances. At Golden Sands we are busy sorting out the Park to deal with the current situation and making sure it is well placed to reopen as soon as is permitted.
Within our previous Owner communication on 23rd March following the enforced government closure of Golden Sands due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we acknowledged this would inevitably raise some perfectly valid questions on what this means for site fees paid for the season. Due to its very nature this situation is not referred to within any licence agreements. Nevertheless, we wanted to reassure you that this is something that we are looking into at the moment and specifically consulting with both the British Holiday and Home Parks Association and our own insurers.
We cannot unfortunately at this stage give you any hard and fast answers or commitments as these things take time to resolve even at the best of times. Please however be assured that we are working hard to represent your interests as owners and indeed those of the park. It is reassuring that our particular insurance policy includes specific cover for infectious diseases, but we are awaiting a confirmation from the insurers regarding the extent of the cover provided.
Again, can we respectfully ask for your patience whilst we seek the necessary guidance and assurances from the relevant parties. We only have limited staff working actively on the Park at present so we would respectfully ask you not to call in directly to chase this matter, but instead if you wish to correspond via email then please do. Please be assured that we will continue to update you at our earliest opportunity.
