Update – 17th April 2020: Further to the Government update yesterday informing us that the UK will remain in lockdown until at least the 7th May, we will now be allowing re-bookings and cancellations for all holidays booked up until 31st May 2020.

At this stage, we are offering our holidaymakers who are due to come within this period the option to change the date of their holiday up to May 2021 or request a full refund* of their booking. *(T & C’S do apply regarding date change).

In order to change the date of your holiday, you can either email us at bookings@goldensandsrhyl.co.uk or call us on 01745 343 606 (option 2) between 10am – 4pm so we can discuss your options further.

When contacting us, you will need to provide us with your booking reference number and your full personal details. If you are requesting a refund, we require the same information. Once we are in contact with you, we will make every effort to accommodate you going forward.

Please note, all refunds only apply if you have booked directly through Golden Sands Holiday Park via our website or telephone. Customers who have booked via third party agents, such as Hoseasons, must contact the agent directly. 

If you have booked through a newspaper promotional company such as Sun Holidays or Breakfree Holidays we can assist and request a refund on your behalf. Please note any monies paid directly to Golden Sands for your holiday extras will only be paid once Sun Holidays or Breakfree Holidays have made their initial refund to you for the cost of your holiday booking.

We are having large amounts of calls for customers due to arrive in June, however, we will not be acting on these until early May and will do so in accordance with Government guidelines. We thank you for your understanding and co-operation at this time.

22nd March 2020: Following the Government’s advice regarding non-essential travel, regrettably, we have decided to close Golden Sands to all holiday guests. All bookings where the arrival date falls between 23rd March and 30th April will be cancelled.

These are unprecedented times. We all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves but the people: of our country; the local community; and on our park. We are having to make decisions and take actions which were unimaginable even a few days ago. Over the last 24 hours, there has been an increasing and understandable concern in local communities towards the owners of second homes and caravans, as well as holiday visitors. The government’s clear guidance is that there must be no unnecessary or non-essential travel.

We very much regret this action and are sorry to all our guests, who have been looking forward to enjoying a holiday at Golden Sands and very much hope they will visit us in the future when circumstances allow this.

We are in the process of contacting those who have booked their holiday direct with us and are doing so in date order, so please bear with us as our lines are extremely busy. If you made your booking via an agent you will need to contact them.

You can be assured that we will be ready to resume business just as soon as the crisis passes and will be making efforts to ensure our staff are looked after during this period.
